Smart Deposit Express On September 15, 2009 we are enhancing our Smart Deposit Express security features with Sign-in Protection. The new Sign-in Protection displays personally selected items (a phrase set in a colored background with a colored border, designed by you) when you log in. It identifies that you are at the Bridge Bank Web site, not a fraudulent look-alike site. Additionally, Sign-in Protection provides you added safety by helping us to identify you and to prevent unauthorized access to your accounts. When you register your computer, we can identify you based on a "cookie" stored on the computer(s) that you are using to access Smart Deposit Express. Typically you will access our Web site from one or two computers. Smart Deposit Express will recognize only your registered computer(s), preventing potential fraudsters from logging into your account even if they acquire or guess your Login ID and password. Should someone attempt to login from a different computer, we will take additional steps to verify your identity through "Verification" Questions you set-up. Activation Procedure
You may click here for step-by-step procedures of the activation process. After you have activated Sign-in Protection, you will periodically receive a verification question when you log in from a "registered" computer. In addition, accessing Smart Deposit Express from an unregistered computer will trigger a verification question to confirm your identity. Once confirmed, you will have the option to register that computer by simply marking a check-box. More than one computer may be registered for regular use. If you have any questions about this new security procedure, please contact your Branch Office. |
